Summer Reading 101

It's almost the end of the school year and that means summer is upon us. As grown-ups, most of us do not have the luxury of taking a lot of time off in the summer and for me, escaping into a good book is my vacation! Not on Nantucket? Read about it! Not at a Muskoka cottage? Read about it! Summer Camp a distant memory? READ ABOUT IT!

Here are my five picks for the best Summer Books to read right now!

Every Summer After by Carly Fortune (Muskoka/Cottage Country)

Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score -This is a doorstop of a book with a full cast of characters, grumpy/sunshine romance and all the small town charm and gossip you can imagine. The first in a planned trilogy (the second book, Things We Hide From the Light, is out now)

Once More With Feeling by Elissa Sussman- I went to music camp as a kid so I loved this second chance romance novel that centres around a two former pop stars who team up years after a scandal destroyed on of their careers to work together on a Broadway bound musical.
